Recently, KERUI Energy Group, in collaboration with China National Machinery Import & Export Corporation (CMC) and Genting Group, signed a contract for a large-scale natural gas processing plant project, setting a new record for contract amounts in similar projects in recent years, marking a new milestone. The project, located in the Kasuri block of West Papua Province in Indonesia, covers key aspects such as design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. The project has a processing capacity of 280 MMSCFD, coupling with top-notch domestic natural gas processing technology, utilizing patented process packages to achieve deep decarbonization of high carbon dioxide content natural gas. The main plant adopts skid-mounted, modular design, significantly improving on-site construction efficiency. The digital material control system implemented throughout the process greatly enhances material utilization, effectively controlling costs while also achieving intelligent construction and digital delivery. The successful implementation of this project aims to initiate a comprehensive transformation and upgrade path from basic to high-end, from inefficient to efficient, jointly building an innovative and efficient new energy industry chain. The project will introduce multiple innovative technologies, optimize process design, reduce costs and increase efficiency, aiding Indonesia’s oil and gas industry in achieving sustainable development goals.
